Technology
I want to talk about electronics
How we get so wrapped up in them
No divulgence with someone
Even when you’re with everyone
Not talking to anyone
I want to talk about smartphones
They take up a lot of attention
Holding memories we’re unable to store
Yet we don’t create anymore
Always on social media on how life is a bore
I want to talk about virtual games
Digital games that get people “heated”
People free to express hatred
Not having to worry about the consequences
Yet so fun and competitive
I want to talk about earbuds
Not the headphones that are noticable
But the audio that digs itself into your ears
Making communication unable
I want to talk about cameras
Capturing good memories,
Even record someone getting beaten miserably
While someone is chatting Worldstar
While sometimes that can go to far
While somebody calls a police car
I want to talk about technology
How taking it away can ruin someone’s life
What looks to be a small device
Can be everything you hold dear
Because it holds so much more
This technology is our core
