Just woke up, only got 4 hrs of sleep due to homework overload #publicschool

Usually

the world wakes up to the gentle touch

of sun

and the absence of the moon

He wakes up to the screen

that contains his life

A life of public image

and perfection

alive, but not living

Just saw a kid run into a teacher's open door #ughfreshman #freshmeat

He watched

accidents happen to other people

but never sympathizes

and typically never reacts

Because if the world isn't in his hand

is it really worth the time?

The girl who sees him

smiles at him in the hallway

and tries to be as kind as she can

before the time slips through her fingers

But she doesn't want a blind man

who only likes her pictures

and not her soul

but does nothing

He thinks outloud

and acts in his head--

A genetic backward existence

from a father with glazed eyes

passed out on the couch.

If it doesn't apply to his image

no one sees it

including him.
