Stay
Heartache is a heavy pain,
Crushing one’s inside
Sometimes it hurts more
When it’s seen in others eyes
We cover our true feelings
With soft and flowery words
Because the thought of speaking truths
Is a thought that often goes unheard
We should decide on words more wisely
Unless they all come out a lie
Because the ones that hurt us all the most
Are ‘I love you’ and ‘I’m fine’
