How Many Times Do I Say Sorry?

How many times
Do I say sorry?
I can say it
But I can’t to you.
How many times?
Do I tell myself to fess up?
I mess up but I am only me.
I try to be who I want to be and you can’t
Take that away from me.
I say i'm sorry in my head
It’s just not good enough so I start
The day again.
Maybe today’s the day,
wait i'm too afraid.
