This statement may shock, 

it may even be covered up and blocked.

But here it is,

in its purest form, here it is-

I don't want to shot to death.

-and all those people taking a big breath,

with your guns and your amendments,

take a second to hear me out- you wont regret it.

It's 2018- it's supposed to be a good year but lately

All I've felt is sadness, all I've seen is pain,

Watching that death count gain and gain.

You see its been twenty three so far but who knows,

Theres a shooting a week now- this is how it goes.

This is our new reality and we accept it,

But why is nothing being done to prevent it?

Right now someone can get a gun in less than a day,

can use it so a child will never again play.

Liberty and justice for all is bulls**t,

if theres no justice for those who fall.
