On Being 11

How Frustrating it is to be a tween,
stuck between a kid and teenager.
No one understands you and your needs,
people just constantly nagging at you.
You get annoyed at little things,
caught in between dolls and boys.
I wait things out, quietly and patiently.
I'm bored and waiting for things to happen,
a little bit of action in life.
It's fine I guess,
I'll get to live free soon.
Only seven long years to go.

I wrote this piece because it is what I feel about being 11 years old. Sometimes I feel that being a tween can be really hard and frustrating because no one listens to you. Sometimes I feel like I just want to be free and have no one nag at you.
