I’m sorry
I’d like to take this time to formally apologize to you
I know I’ve beaten you down
You have countless scars, some not even visible
Yet, you still get up every day
You make sure to continually take care of me
I want to say I’m sorry
I don’t appreciate you enough for everything you do
You may be broken and bruised
But here you stand, ready to take on the next day
You’re like a rose
Beautiful and elegant but I come along and cut you down
And here you are, withering away
