If Only You Knew
Day by day the halls are filled with fear
Some students begging for their bullies to disappear
It’s not just the physical actions that make sound
But the hateful words tearing them down
Some students dread coming to school
Who knew that such a place could be so cruel?
They get to the point where they pray for it to end
Desperate for someone to be their friend
To help them stand up
To turn the bully in
How much hate can one individual take?
Constantly dwelling trying not to break
The words didn’t faze him at first
But as time went on the attacks got worse and worse
Enough was enough
Tired of pretending to be strong and tough
Even being at home was just as rough
Judged for their presence
Judged for their actions
All for one’s simple satisfaction.
