What would happen

If instead of standing by

Just watching that kid getting bullied

You spoke out?

What would happen

if instead of being too scared to raise your hand

and answer that  question in class

You simply raised your hand?

How would the world of sports be different today

Had Michael Jordan quit and gave up basketball

After not making the team in high school?

What would our music be like today

If Elvis Presley had listened

When people told him he couldn't sing

And quit?

Where would the realm of science and education be

Had Albert Einstein

Let his speech difficulties

And the belief of others

Who believed that he was mentally handicapped

Stop him?

What would have happened

If J.K Rowling

Let her circumstances of being a divorced mother

Living on welfare

And going to school

Stop her from her career in writing?

What would happen

If instead of doubting ourselves

And being too afraid to take action and do anything

We actually took the risk.

What kind of world would we be able to create?
