Natural Habitat
He sits by the edge of the brook.
Water moving rapidly,
Bubbles popping.
Small waves form over the dark rocks.
He stares into the water,
Ready to dive in.
To leave the mainland
And become one with the brook.
Yet something holds him back.
He never dives in,
Never becomes one with the brook.
He just watches,
taking in the beauty.
