heart strings
the heart is like a violin
it's difficult to play at first,
but once you learn how to play it,
it gets easier and easier
you learned how to play mine.
you learned which chords to play
to make a beautiful melody that
draws me in every time
but, the more you play them
the more the strings are stressed,
the more they become out of tune.
the more they become weak.
that's where my strings are at.
you've played them and played them
and every time i don't stop you
but you need to give my violin a break
because my stings are growing weak
they're becoming fragile.
if you're not careful,
they might
snap.

this one is about this guy who i'm so deeply in love with. i broke him and i deeply regret it. i told him that i was sorry for everything and he said "okay". now, he's just toying with my heart. when i'm around him, he starts talking about other girls. he knows it hurts me. he's not being careful with my heart and he's going to end up breaking it in half if he's not careful.
