They are mesmerizing,

I lean forward,
Close to your ear and I whisper
“You’re beautiful.”

I pull back and look into your eyes again
Now is the moment,
I lean in and give you a tender kiss.

I feel you smile
As I lie my head on your shoulder

The tenderness of that kiss
Was incredible,
