Lunch
Bosco sticks and strawberries,
This is what they eat at lunch.
Storytelling and complaining,
This is what they talk about.
Bicking all through lunch,
Leaves others questioning their friendship.
This results in yanking ponytails,
And blaming others,
Wining and messy hair,
More bickering and confusion,
Laughing and name calling,
“Ex-friends” and mad faces,
Oranges and blindness.
Hugs and forgiving.
Friends go through ups and downs,
That is just lunch.
