Gloom-Filled Sunday
Rain drops soaking into my shoes,
Drops hitting my head,
Hair frizzes up,
Toes soaked,
As if I dipped my feet
In the cold ocean.
I look up just to be blinded,
By never ending raindrops.
Skies dark,
But its only noon.
Gloom fills my thoughts,
As summer goes
And fall begins.
We see the leaves around us,
Fall and take over the green grass.
Pink flowers lay,
And sun rays,
no longer on me.
