ADRENALINE rushing through your veins,

Feeling bigger than Hulk,

There’s thirty seconds,

You take the ball and run,

There’s silence that lasts a lifetime,

Everything. Is slowed down.

You watch your shot go into the net,

You just scored the game winner,

Feeling ecstatic as you run up to celebrate,

All the blood, sweat, tears,

All the hard work and dedication,

Staying late,

Early mornings,

That makes it worth it,

That is what I live for,

The beautiful game.

This is a poem about soccer, but I made it vague to allow it to connect to many other people and sports.
