A Choice
Another day, another choice.
Life rocks me hard with subjects never known about.
Things I never wanted to know about.
A new beginning starts a new end.
A new end starts a new beginning.
I walk through doors of pink and gray
Wondering which will lead me astray.
Hoping life's wonders never fail,
And hoping my dire answer will begin to prevail
Looking at both, side to side.
Questioning the facts eye to eye.
I remember we all have a choice
And that our voice shall be heard.
I took a step forward
And looked as hard as I could into the thresh of my fear
I knew the choice I had to make
I wanted to answer the choice I had to make
One answer shall be enough
One step is done for the day, waiting for the next one had to be made.
