My Mom
My mom gave birth to me
She whispered to herself how happy she was
She has cursed to herself when I would act like a brat
She made sure I eat enough fruit
She held me when it stormed and I was scared
She has helped me cross the street
She has never hidden her love for me
She has comforted me when my imagination runs wild
She has never conspired against me
Although her motherly love may not be uncommon
I still appreciate all she has done for me
