The Darkest Ocean.
You may have hurt me once, maybe even twice. However, miraculously in this whole mix up of feelings. I was the one who was made a fool of. You lost out, yet, still, I was the one who looked dumb. The reason for this? I was being told that none of you were worth my time, not by only one person but several people, friends, family, they all told me the same sentences. Ignoring all of what I was being told I decided to think to myself and in my unyielding mind I came to the thoughts of “No, he's worth it. He isn't like the others who have hurt me.” But then it happened, you were just like all of the others, and still. I fell for you. I fell for your clouds of lies such as what a rock would do had it been thrown into the center of the ocean, it falls, and falls, and falls, just up until it finally hits the dark bottom. That's when it all goes bad, the dark bottom of the ocean is, well, dark, it's where many things go to decay away into peaces until its forgotten all together. That's where my love for you went, to the dark bottom of that large mystifying ocean. I was hurt as my love for you decayed, but there wasn't much of a choice but to let it go absent. I couldn't take you back, in fact I wouldn't take you back. I gave you what I had, yet you still destroyed all of what I gave you. You did that in the span of one single night, with one single girl.
I was always being told about your harmed heart, how it was those girls you had loved that walked all over it, right? It was those damned girls who forced you to make the same decision that they had once made, that once, fractured your heart, and your trust. Yet to this day, I don't think ill ever begin to understand how that works. As one was hurt, that hurt is to be given to another? I don't believe that is the works of love. If you were to love someone, that love is to be shown in a way of not harming the one you love, its to be shown by caressing their cheeks when they feel weakness, its to be shown by being there for them when they are in need of you, shown by giving them that attention that they yearn for. Not by lies, arguments, aggression, that isn't love; that is what should be thrown away, that is what should float down to the bottom of that dark ocean with all of the other “loves” that have once been destroyed.
