Light in the Darkness
It was already morning and I was still
In my bed
Not willing to wake up
Creeeeaaaak
My eyes opened
This morning. Ugh.
Would I learn something new? Or would I be a coward?
My bag hung heavy from my shoulder
I walked to school
Filled with darkness (Me, not the school)
I never hoped of becoming somebody
Somebody helpful to my parents / to others / to my country
I was too shy / too unmotivated / too dark
THEN
my brother returned from college and saw the real me
He gave me help / advice / the right path
He came like stars in the darkness
And now I see the sun
I started working hard
I impressed everyone: my parents / my teachers / my friends / mySELF
because of my brother
