Existential Crisis
What’s the point
Why live a life to just escape it
Fantasizing the impossible
While eyes scroll across touched pages
Or perhaps when in the darkness
Allowing music to fill the void
Virtuality is the reality
When it comes to reaching for avoid
If peace isn’t found here
Then where can it be obtained
It’s like we’re recharging
But the cord lacks length
So why do we try so hard to be grounded
When we could just float
Why don’t we just leave all together
Because it appears there’s no point.
