Explaining my Race to my President: A Conversation
Dear Trump, I’m a hispanic born and raised in the U.S.
My mom and dad are two hard working people
Working day and night keeping us alive.
Trump: Mexico is sending 'rapists' and 'drug dealers'
Listen my people are not a threat.
You can't just imply these lies.
You can’t justify these stereotypes..
My people come to this country for a better life
And Better opportunities.
Not for some racist to try and ruin these.
No we dont steal your jobs
No we don't commit crimes
But we try to keep ourselves well and alive…
Working hard in the sun
To get their money right.
Without my people
this country wouldn't run right...
After all this land belonged to my kind.
