Moment Before the Moment
Inhale
First, complete darkness
Hear muffled steps
Stirring
tension chokes the silence
Thumping like a steady drumroll
Feel the energy wisping through the air
Connect your focus
With the witnesses
Press into the floor
The foundation of the exhibit
Wait...
Lights flash on
Almost blinding
Heat swells the space
Sounds start to weave through the air
Sink into skin
Rush through bloodstreams
Muscles relax
Melting away
Begin to paint the air and
Exhale
