Remembering
Life,
It’s taken for granted.
Breathing,
It’s a given,
Right?
WRONG!!
Not everyone can breathe by themselves.
It kills you to see someone you love not able to.
It ends…
Memories.
You look back on.
More ugly than beautiful,
But amazing just the same.
Places they talked about,
But never got to go.
In turn, you go and bring a part of them to see.
They watch from above,
Loving that you choose to remember,
Rather than to forget.
It’s heartbreaking,
But better for them.
Death.

I wrote this after visiting my grandmother in the hospital. She was my inspiration, as sad as that may be. I wrote this with my heart, my pain, my fears, and my happiness.
