Lost in Fall
on a bolder
by the pond
ears and nose pink
numb hands stuffed in pockets
the cold wind moves
water
leaves
grass
It blows my worries away
In this moment
I’m not me
I’m one with
the reflective water
the red
orange
yellow-green leaves
the crisp air
the cold breeze
the grainy wood
and I’m not me anymore
until I go inside
the worries return
and I’m me again
