Games
Time doesn't always heal,
Change isnt always real.
Don't expect it.
Sitting here now, I've realised
that even the littlest spark of
false hope could reopen scars
you forgot you had.
Silly me, Baby, You're
just the same.
Yet, somehow I feel a
different pain.
Played.
You pulled me into your
nasty game, once again
i'm just another useless name
written on your list of victims.
Flames.
We're burning up again, And maybe
this time, our ashes will be too
far gone to reignite.
What a mess we've made my dear,
this time around has made it clear
we're nothing more then lost memories from here,
Goodbye my love...

I write poetry to express feelings and thoughts that im not comfortable with speaking about out loud, or to release any built up emotions. this peice is about a boy i fell in love with back in middle school, after a year and a half of being together, we split up. We just got back together on the 6th of september after 5 months of being apart. Anyways, today he left me and i realised that when he said he "changed" he meant temporarily. First post, I hope you enjoy.
