Untitled
Your eyes amaze me.
They’re like a galaxy-
An explosion of grey, blue,
And green crystals reflecting off the sun,
Shattering every piece of sanity
I managed to hold onto.
You gazed upon me,
And I watched every wall I built
Implode into riveting shards,
Tearing apart the anguish that surrounds me.
And as the dust settled, there you were.
A bright light contrasting against the pale
I let myself become so accustomed to.
And I can feel my veins shake
With each delicate touch
As the drag of your hand strikes a blaze
You lips cannot extinguish.
You found the power to move
My blood at your own accord.
And became the stubborn inferno
That burned me time and time again
Yet I still craved the fiery embrace.
And it feels like there’s
Champagne flowing through my veins,
Desire oozing from every pore,
Euphoria spiking when I hear your name.
You make my knees weak and my palms sweat
All with a simple gaze
Or graze of your hand.
And when you tell me you love me
The words drop from your tongue
Like stars illuminating the night sky,
Burning bright with the fiery passion
That has been sparked within my soul.
I can feel my emotions
Bubbling and rioting and clawing in my chest,
Enclosing around my heart
Until I feel everything at once.
Every word I’ve ever wanted to say to you
Is on the tip of my tongue,
Sprouting like flowers in my lungs,
And my thoughts are screaming to be heard.
But as soon as I look into your eyes,
They become a jumbled mess
And I am left speechless once again.
