Sadness
What is sadness’s true form?
Sadness comes in many forms.
You see it in heartbreak,
A broken friendship,
In the hearts of a loved one.
Sadness is found in…
The longing to hear it will be okay,
The empty feeling of being alone,
The sorrow of losing a loved one.
In the hope that,
Life sends those in our path,
Who pull us off the road of pain and despair.
Filling our lives with rays of sunshine,
Bringing warmth, and a smile.
