And I've got nothing to carry on for
I got nothing to write a song for
But I'll keep going anyway
Just for my self
And some mornings I look to the sky
Praying that today I won't cry
But I'll keep crying anyway
Just for my self
And I love you so
That my wishes oscillate to and fro
And the bride of the poem responds with “no”
And it was all so long ago
So just for myself I rise
And just for you I'd fall
I see it in your eyes
Out of the closet and into a wall
Although lost
So free
Such a cost
To be
