Strawberry Cuts
The sweet need of a release To open the skin Penetrated by the shear edge of a razor Slicing the innocence away
Letting out a sea of emotions Disguised as red oozing blood Dripping down my arm Releasing abounding endorphins
My thoughts loosing their grip On the cliff that is regret It draws me in, The emotion to the pain
It only lasts for a short while The I have to pick more strawberry slices From the plant that grows them
