A Second Chance.

Be like a budding plant forever,
Cause the moment you think
You've arrived,
You stop to thrive.
The rising plume of pride and ego
Blindfold you to your falling!
Then like a rotten flower you brood,
Despondent by your present-self,
Urging to revive your past-self,
But no springs seem to prosper;
You wonder if you could
Ever bloom again,
Or only gloom at the sight of
Your associate's yield!
But wonders of wonder
Comes a lil butterfly and whispers
You the arrival of springs,
For we all deserve a second chance!
