Out of a Daze

On a foggy day
in the middle of May
nothing at all seems clear.
The roads that lie ahead
to a future that seems dead
are pushed to the rear-view mirror.
Thoughts start to churn
as those words begin to burn
causing a whole lot of tears.
But don't let those thoughts harbor
for you'll keep moving farther,
'til the fog turns to sunlight that year.
