The Face

The face,
The face that can’t look back at the faces that view it,
The face that stands still in the rain and the wind.
What a beautiful sight, no matter what’s in its way.
It stands level with the clouds, drawing praise from afar.
The face that, when praised, can’t acknowledge it.
I saw beauty in the face.
This face.
