Favorite Quote:
The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change-Carl Rogers

He strikes a match
The red and white
Consumed in spark
the pair ignite
Phosphorus and chloride scream
A flame erupts out in the night
they sacrifice themselves to be
so much more than wood and fuel
So that I am warm and I may see
And from this carnage soon comes peace
BEAUTIFUL DESTRUCTION

He sees his life
His pain and greed
The hopes and loss
The laughs and screams
The flames of life inside him teemed
The splintered relics of his past
The ground he gained against the grief
He strove to kill his older ways
he sacrificed himself to see
that from great pain comes kings and queens
BEAUTIFUL DESTRUCTION

From the destruction of my past in the attempt to move on and improve myself in spite of the pain, I have risen far beyond what I could have possibly imagined. Destruction is not always as horrible as we make it out to be. Some destruction has a a silver lining
