I was quarrelling with my sensations
as it played with my imagination.
Then I began dropping all my senses
and weakened and disarmed my defenses.

I was awoken in grandiose splendor,
it felt as if my mind opened its door.
The reality I had dare not remain.
I freed myself from its firm, metal chains.

I yearned to bask in its tenderness
and to feel each of its gentle caress.
This moment, I never dare suppress
since it's perfect, no more and no less.

I was consumed with deep sadness
when I knew its about to end.
I hoped that this I could possess
and hold it dearly in my hand.

The bliss it has created
had me so intoxicated.
It sprinkled magic dust in me,
enchanted me with ecstasy.

I woke with pain in my heart
then the aching reality started,
I thought it was all real, though it seems
that what has happened was only a dream.
