Blindness

My heart lost its vision
In a beautiful collision
Between my heart and yours
The inescapable transition
Of life, love, and submission
In my mind, opened a thousand doors

Love breeds death
Within my mind
Yet, your soothing breath
Tells me your heart is kind

Does your glare
Of painful stare
Spell devastation?
Or love and creation?
I wish I could know
I wish I could show
You how I feel for you

I will now admit
And faithfully commit
These last words to my image of you

Love is blind, and I am so blind for you.

Well, here goes nothing; this is a little snippet of my collection of over 160 poems. I hope this one entertains :D

I need no thanks; it's just a hobby, really! And you're very welcome!

It takes a few words to say "I love you" but it takes a lifetime to show it

Poetry is like a piece of music, and you composed it beautifuly. The flow and the rhyme scheme went together quite nicely. I just all around enjoyed this wonderful piece :D. Thank you for sharing you talent, keep writing, and good luck.
