I’m startled, afraid
BANG BOOM BAM
I’m all alone again
The light flashes, illuminating your face
Quiet and docile, in such a disheveled place
The sounds claps again, resonating through the sky
My heart skips a beat, I look but do not find
Gone, fear seems to have driven you away
Why did you have sense to leave? When I foolishly stayed
Seconds later, the light returns again
In an instant, my life was doomed to end
