Mummy, I met a boy,
You’ll like him I know,
He brings me joy,
As a person I’ll grow.
Mummy, I met a boy,
He’s a bit older than me,
Just a few years,
No cause for penalty.
Mummy, I met a boy,
I know I am young,
I swear I’m in love,
And I’ll say it again.
Mummy, I met a boy,
He gave me this bruise,
Where did I go wrong,
Please tell me I’m confused.
