You told me to reflect on who I am,
What I want, and how to achieve what I can
You told me that you don’t think I am anyone
To you, I am no one, nothing, naught
Upon examining my conscious I have found
That there is something in there that is rather profound
My soul
I didn’t know it was there. Or what it did
Where has it been all these years? I guess it hid
Amongst the darkness
