Pushing past the limit
Just to see the light
Preparations can take you so far
As it turns out, you were right

Staying on my path
Cleaning this residue
I will soar in the open skies
Not trying to keep up with you

Rise above others I will
Support or by stand, I don’t care
My ground remains strong
I won’t cave to your enchanting stare

I will fly past my fears
Not to prove you’re mistaken
Lackadaisical no more
It is time to awaken
