"Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game."

Nothing seems real when I look around,
It is a dream, some kind of mystery,
As if my thoughts have all been bound.

A long lost girl was finally found,
A mad woman taken from her misery,
Nothing seems real when I look around.

A small sweet pup, stuck in the pound,
The girl down the street without purity,
As if my thoughts have all been bound.

Girls dressing unbelievably to astound,
People with lives full of profanity,
Nothing seems real when I look around.

Ideas no longer being propound,
Everything passing the brain sensory,
As if my thoughts have all been bound.

N.A.S.A. being stuck to the ground,
Possibly the biggest thing in history,
Nothing seems real when I look around,
As if my thoughts have all been bound.

I wrote this during creative writing. We are experimenting with Villanelle poetry. Pretty cool!
