Instead of a smile
You gave her a glare
Instead of a laugh
She let out a tear
Instead of a hug
You turned her away
Instead of shaking it off
She carried it far
Instead of telling someone
She kept it inside
Instead of loving herself
She hated her life
Instead of talking it out
She started to cut
Instead of facing her scars
You tried not to see
Instead of seeking her out
You read it in the news
Instead of watching her live
You saw her wither away
Instead of facing the pain
She cut too far
Instead of trying to stop her
You watched her go
Instead of a life
She knew only pain

I love this soooo much! I relate to everything in it and I've been trying to write something like this almost exactly! I love this poem sooooooo much! Keep writing!
