Introspection
Beseeches me
Only Then
Am I able
To contrast
The lightness
Of myself
To the darkness
Of society
Such images
Evoke a sense
Of false security
Through
Immense Clarity
Then I am thrust
Out into reality
Wrapped in blackness
So blinded
By vulgar
Vapidity
I flee
To a Hole
Cut off from society
How peculiar
That I can see
When surrounded
Only By vast vacancy
Then I step foot
Into the world
And I am blinded
Temporarily.
