My mind races
My face is calm
My heart pounds
I seem serene
I can't breath
Like my smile?

What is real

Having to fake a break up is really hard. You have to lie to everyone you're close too, because if the wrong person finds out, the one person you love most in the world would be so hurt that you couldn't live with yourself. But what if the lie becomes truth?

i love this poem, and the comment beside it acts like another one. This poem is very realatible, i may have never had a boyfriend but i am for some reason the one my friends come to for advice. You have a lot of talent :D

I liked reading this poem, finding that it has a lot of meaning. But I didn't think it applied to faking a breakup when I read it. Writers and their readers often find different truths in a single piece. Well done with this.
