Break-Up Song
Dates every weekend
 More than just my boyfriend
 Phone calls every night
Everything we had was just right
Then something happened, we began to fight
 Little ones at first
Then they became worse and worse

 Happy for so long
Now it’s a break up song
 He’s not worth my time
It might take a while, but I’ll be fine

Took her out all the time
 Things between us were fine
 Liked each other so much
 And I loved her touch
 Then things got kinda old
I became bored and she became cold
That’s when stuff started to fall apart
I played with her and her heart

 Happy for so long
Now it’s a break up song
 She’s not worth my time
It might take a while, but I’ll be fine

 He stopped calling and texting
 I stopped wanting and needing
He became frustrated for no reason
Had mood swings that changed like the season
 I felt so pushed away
Talked to him every other day
Finally the day had to come
It was rough but hey, you win some, you lose some
What we had is no more
I may look okay, but my heart is sore

 Happy for so long
Now it’s a break up song
 She’s not worth my time
It might take a while, but I’ll be fine

She disagreed with everything I said
No more calls, right before bed
She gave up on looking good
I could see she was misunderstood
Other girls were catching my eye
Finally the day had come, it was time to say goodbye
She was harsh and so was I
Tears were building up, she tried not to cry
Just one girl, not the end of the world, I won’t die

 Happy for so long
Now it’s a break up song
 She’s not worth my time
It might take a while, but I’ll be fine
