Artificial
It is hard to believe that when they find your way, your done with the journey,
That they are done with the pain, that your done with the joy
Its hard to get away from that pain they call happiness
That shallow kiddy pool they call the ocean
And lets not forget those magnificent insults they call caring

So your curled on the ground
With a knife in your hand
Crying and hearing those screams in your head
 The blood on the ground
And the mud in your hair
And the scars on your wrists
 And nobody cares

So they put you in therapy,
 They call you insane
 They call you depressed
They label you, they judge you
 They prescribe pills,
Which you should take until the noises go away
Which you should take until your happy
 Artificial sanity
 Artificial happiness.

 So your supposedly normal
 Your supposedly sane
 Your supposedly happy
 And it is supposedly healthy
But is this who you really are
All those smiles, are they real?
And the scars, are they really gone?
Or just covered up by make up?

You know its not your fault right?
 You didn’t push yourself,
 don’t blame it on you,
Blame it on those so called friends
 Who are so called caring
And are in the so called ocean
And see your so called happiness
 And don’t care
They just push you off the edge
 Its not your fault
 Its not you fault
 Its not your fault

 They call you insane
 They call you emo
 Just for the sanity
 Just for the thrill
You want it to go away,
 Keep taking those pills
I can’t wait to see your artificial smiles again
 Or your artificial sanity
 It looks good on you

You know its your fault right?
 You did push yourself,
 blame it on you,
 Blame it on yourself
 You are so called caring
And in the so called ocean
And you see your so called happiness
 And don’t care
You just push you off the edge
 Its your fault
 Its you fault
 Its your fault
