Insane Jane
Jane with her friends went up a hill,
Jane with a basket holding fruits,
Others holding maps,
Some playing music with their flutes,
Jane went onward towards the woods,
Curiosity peaked, so did dawn,
“Why is Jane going to the forest?”
Hesitation spiked, yet they went on,
Stopping her venture she dropped her basket,
Silent, yet happy she smiled,
Frightened, fearing, and frozen,
One realizing they were in the wild,
Screeches, terrors, and birds squawking,
Soon the silence, not a single freakout,
Despite Jane and her friends entering in,
Only little Jane came out.
Reaching towards her basket,
She retrieved something red,
Was it a pomegranate or apple,
Oh, I was mistaken, it was a head.
