"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music." - Friedrich Nietzsche

To you I display my soul,

Confess my love, my heart laid bare.

But in your laughter, daggers thrust,

My love, a joke, a truth so rare.

A dare whispered, a cruel charade,

My love; a pawn in games we played.

Promises broken, like fragile glass,

In love’s cruel dance, I drown.

Oh, cursed fate, why toy with hearts?

Why weave deceit in love’s fine arts?

Now haunted in what could’ve been,

My heart screams in tortured echoes.

So farewell, my love,

In sorrow’s grip, I’ll bury thee.

In my dreams, you’ll forever be.
