Only dead fish go with the flow.

I’m so stubborn… I know, I know.

Anyone who thinks I’m a follower is crazy.

I’m a leader who’s just a tad bit lazy.

And even though I can be quiet and my voice isn’t heard

(Being proud of that would just be absurd),

I still don’t go with the flow, but don’t you realize

That I have enough energy to fight and that I’m very much alive.

Let this be a lesson because I do know

That only dead fish do go with the flow

And I’m not saying you have to be a nuisance to your mom or dad

I’m just saying that letting anyone control you is just bad.
