Tulips swaying in the breeze
As the wind gasps past my knees
The puddles devour my feet as I walk through the cold place I call home

The outside is where I free myself from the terrors that wait inside
Frightened by what awaits, I continue to abide
Somehow I look around still amazed of the beauty nature holds
At the same time wondering how long I will be able to behold

No matter how long
No matter how short
No matter if I'm in the inside or out.
I live as if there is no tomorrow
Because what if there could be no more sorrow.
