Anger the Companion
An unwanted companion who I abhor
Through light and darkness, he takes a toll
And I direct him to the door
Yet he stays and takes control
Like an embarrassing friend, I hide him at times
He pulls me down and commits some crimes
He creeps on my shoulder and tells me things
His whispered words often sting
Although I think I hate his visits
Sometimes my companion needs no exit
Unwanted yet needed
He opens my eyes to the maltreated
